Dorji Dhradhul has been a tremendous resource for Hawaii. Because Hawaii is an isolated body of islands, policies and practices surrounding sustainability, much like Bhutan, is a priority.  Likewise, because the cornerstone for Hawaii’s economy is centered around the visitor industry, Bhutan’s sustainable tourism experience is one which many in Hawaii aspire to.
We have found Mr Dhradhul’s expertise in both sustainability and tourism to be invaluable, especially because Bhutan excels in those areas.  He has advised us over the years and has brought depth and breadth to the way we work on the issues we face and the new opportunities that we seek.
Mr Dhradhul and I have developed a long distance friendship over the years.  I find him to be an authentic person and one who is trustworthy.  I can always depend upon Dorji Dhradhul to follow through with what he says.
