A former Director General of Tourism, he now focuses on reframing how individuals, organisations, and nations think about growth, placing creativity at the centre of human and institutional development.
Deeply rooted in the philosophy of Gross National Happiness and mentored by Fredrik Härén, Dorji speaks across the world on creativity and nation-building, mindful leadership, youth as present-day contributors, ageing with purpose, gender harmony, and High-Value Low-Volume tourism.
His work challenges conventional leadership models and invites audiences to rethink capability, contribution, and progress itself.
Dorji is the author of Bhutan: The Kingdom of Mindfulness, Hercules of Tongchudrak, Escapades: Awakenings, Creativity: A Critical Competency for the 21st Century, and Cosmos, where he frames creativity as a core human life skill relevant to leaders, societies, and individuals alike.
